Screening License

  • To host a screening in a location outside of a private home, you will need to purchase a site-specific Screening License.

  • You have the option to receive the film for screening as a DVD, digital download, or both.

  • If you have previously purchased a screening license, you can renew your license and host additional screenings at half price.

Screening License Agreement

By purchasing this Screening License, you agree to the following terms for screening VINCENT WHO? (the "Film"):

LICENSOR

Tony Lam Productions, LLC, 11250 Old St. Augustine Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257 ("TLP").

LICENSE

Licensee agrees to provide TLP with the name(s) of the hosting organization(s) and the time, date, and location of screening(s) of the Film.

TLP grants to Licensee the non-exclusive right to screen the Film in a private or public setting on or after the original screening date. The Film may be screened an unlimited amount of times over the course of one week (7 days) of original screening date ONLY at the original screening location.

Licensee understands that any other type of use or showing of the Film, without the prior express written consent of TLP, and the payment of the then-applicable License Fee (which is subject to change at the discretion of TLP), is strictly prohibited.

Licensee understands that they have the responsibility to test the DVD as well as the compatibility of the DVD with their method of exhibition prior to the screening. If DVD is in unplayable condition, Licensee may request a replacement copy be sent, so long as this request is made within 7 days of the screening date. The Film is also available as a digital download in Quicktime (.mov) format. For redundancy, Licensee may wish to purchase both the DVD and the digital download, so there is more than one format to screen the Film.

LICENSING FEE

$200 for DVD, $200 for digital download, or $295 for both DVD and digital download.

If you have previously purchased a Screening License or Institutional DVD, you may renew your license to hold additional screenings for $100.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Licensee is granted with no rights to the ownership of the copyrighted materials contained in the DVD or digital download of the selected Film. The license granted herein is non-exclusive, non-sub-licensable or transferable, and Licensee is granted with no rights to modify or use any of the materials contained in the Film's copyrighted materials or any trademarks or other intellectual property rights with respect to the Film, except as specifically set forth in this License Agreement. Licensee is not authorized to reproduce the copyrighted work or any intellectual property rights in and to the trademarks of the Film in any manner nor to prepare derivative works based upon the copyrighted work. Licensee acknowledges that the DVD and/or digital download provided according to this Screening License is for screening purposes only and agrees not to resell, duplicate, or make otherwise available this material.

Each digital download will have a unique digital signature.

LICENSEE WILL TAKE ALL NECESSARY STEPS TO PREVENT THE UNAUTHORIZED COPYING, RECORDING AND/OR TAPING OF THE FILM BY ADMITTEES TO ANY SCREENING CONDUCTED BY LICENSEE AND WILL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY TLP OF ANY UNAUTHORIZED USE OF THE FILM BY THIRD PARTIES. LICENSEE WILL ALSO ENSURE THE DISC AND/OR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD IS NOT DUPLICATED OR SHARED IN ANY WAY EXCEPT FOR THE PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SCREENINGS ALLOWED HEREIN.

To the extent permissible under applicable federal laws, this Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida applicable to contracts entered into and wholly to be performed within said state. No waiver of any breach of this Agreement shall constitute a waiver of any prior, concurrent or subsequent breach, and no waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the waiving party. In the event any provision of this Agreement shall for any reason be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
